I scanned the Warriors forum for a few good sig lines with freebies in them. A lot of sig lines don’t have freebies. I think the freebie is important to build your list.

[Marlon's comment: The "Attention Lazy Affiliate Marketers" grabs the attention of the right audience. The free offer has a good title. The only thing that bothers me is the mention of the $999 in free bonuses. That makes me feel I might have to buy something since free bonuses usually come with a purchase. But overall, it's a good example. This link goes to a full blown sales letter: http://www.60minuteaffiliate.com. Yet, the letter is ONLY going for the opt in. I would test this vs. a very short opt-in page. The test results I've seen show that short pages get more opt ins. However, it may be the above gets a lot HIGHER quality of opt in. I've read that the graphic opt-in box used on this page increases opt ins. Don't know if it's true or not. You should be able to create your own graphics similar to the ones you see on this page if you really work with the Design Dashboard product.]

FREE ebook: How I got 18,077 unique visitors in 7 days
That one goes to THIS page:

That page is what my friend Jonathan Mizel dubbed a “name squeeze.” Look at it. It’s a good example of how to take someone from a forum and get them to click on your sig line for a freebie and then get an email address and name from them!

FREE eCourse – Make $$ on Craigslist – Safely, Ethically, and Within the TOS
This sign line goes to:
http://www.infosaurusrex.com/craigslistcash/1.htm
[Comments: Don’t use $$$$ in your sig lines. I like the copy. But I always consider using $$ signs a no no. Don’t put pictures of money on your web pages either. The sig line goes to a name squeeze page. I would dress up the graphics. I think this person has the basis of a good sig promotion with a little fix up. What I DO like is the offer of a FREE ecourse. Yes, they are a little overdone. But they still pull. Maybe a better offer is to add on a camtasia video on that page that SHOWS PROOF the method works.
If you don’t have Camtasia or can’t afford it, you can find a free program around on the web called CamStudio. I don’t have the link for it. But if you search around, you can find it.
Camtasia videos, previews and proof videos are one of your BEST affiliate weapons.
If you don’t have your own FREEBIE to give away, you can find some on promotemarlon.com int he tools area.
